Dolly
Dolly is a charming Scottish Highland cow born on December 22, 2022. With her distinctive long, shaggy coat and majestic horns, Dolly embodies the classic beauty of her breed. Her coat, which provides excellent insulation against the cold, is a rich, warm color that adds to her striking appearance.
Holly
Holly is a delightful Scottish Highland cow born on May 16, 2024. With her adorable, fluffy red coat and budding horns, Holly is a stunning example of her breed. Her coat, which is both thick and soft, provides excellent protection against the elements and is a beautiful shade of red that complements her gentle eyes.
Molly
Molly is a charming Scottish Highland cow born on October 19, 2024. Her beautiful dun-colored coat sets her apart and adds a touch of elegance to her appearance. Molly is known for her gentle and curious nature. She enjoys exploring her surroundings and interacting with her caretakers. Her friendly demeanor and playful spirit make her a delightful presence in the pasture.
Mr. Bigz
Mr. Bigz is our gentle giant! This all-black beauty is a retired state police horse who spent years serving with strength, loyalty, and heart. Now, he enjoys the peaceful pastures of Spruce Hill Acres, where he loves meeting visitors and soaking up all the love he can get. Don’t be fooled by his size—Mr. Bigz is as sweet as they come. He’s a true hero with a heart of gold (and a soft spot for carrots)!
Clint
Clinton is our rescued donkey with a big heart and an even bigger personality! From the moment he arrived at Spruce Hill Acres, Clinton made it clear he was here to bring smiles—and maybe a few giggles, too. Whether he's trotting around with his ears flopping or sneaking a snack when he thinks no one’s looking, Clinton keeps us all entertained. He’s a reminder that sometimes the ones who’ve been through the most have the most love to give.
Pepper
Pepper is our curious and sweet spot-painted pinto gelding who’s always ready to check out what’s happening around the farm. With his striking coat and gentle eyes, Pepper has a way of capturing hearts—especially when he trots up to say hello.
With his calm spirit and playful curiosity, Pepper brings a peaceful, happy presence to Spruce Hill Acres—and he never misses a chance to make a new friend.

Palmyra Farmers Market
The event was a perfect blend of local agriculture, education, and community spirit, highlighting the important role farms like Spruce Hill Acres play in connecting people to the land and animals.
Farm Field Trip
Dutchmen Pals from Annville Cleona High School came to the farm for an animal scavenger hunt, where they learned about horses, donkeys, cows, goats, and chickens. They also had a wonderful cuddling session with the highland cows. The smiles radiated happiness all over the farm.
